I just got this idea to use my laptop as the primary computer and promote or demote the desktop to a file server (coz all my files are on the HDDs of the desktop).
The CPU of the laptop is faster than the desktop one, so I hope it will be better.
What's good about this is that I now have two monitors: the built-in one from the laptop and the Dell monitor that I can attach to it.
The only thing I'm concerned about is if the laptop can handle the photo editing. Apart from that, I think this small thing can handle pretty much everything. And I don't play games, so I'm good with that too. =)
I just hope this works out. :)
